Here are some of the Monster High Dolls
Looks like the monster dolls broke for somebody else. This is exactly what happened to my own doll
So the monster dolls aren't made so well. They are a cool idea, but they just need to be made better. I do not recommend this doll because you just don't want to be worried about it breaking or getting torn apart. Plus sometimes kids play with dolls roughly and they will break. You don't want any little kids getting to the broken parts. These dolls would be better just for show and not really play. If you want a doll that is a monster, see if you can find any of the "Bratzilla" dolls because Bratz dolls are more stable.
I disagree with you, I love these dolls! They are really cool! Mine only broke of it's arm, But I don't really care! I have Cleo de nile and Abby Bomible but I want Ghoulia Yelps! I seen Bratzillas before but thet are not as Cool to me!

ReplyDeleteI also disagree with you. It's a fun toy for all ages. I have Draculaura and my sister has Frankie Stien. Ours NEVER broke I guess it's just a matter of how you play with them. TRUST ME SOMETIMES WE PLAY REALLY RUFF WITH OURS, BUT THEY STILL DON'T BRAKE. The makers of Monster High Dolls are brilliant! They made a new kit that comes with a blank doll and a machine to "make your own monster" and it's reasonably priced! You can write your own story for your monster and maybe your new monster will make the history books! You NEVER know! Bratzillas are a TOTAL copy of Monster High Dolls, which disgusts me because I hate Copy Cats!!!! I say that if you are thinking of buying a Monster High Doll (or the kit) for yourself or for someone else, think no more and get it! I am going to buy myself Spectra Vondergeist, because she is beautiful and looks like a character from my favorite TV Drama!!!! I also like Lagoon Blue because I like the ocean and mermaids and all that kind of stuff. Also, shop around a bit because some places sell the dolls for less and I've seen VERY HIGH prices for these dolls. I'd recommend Amazon or Walmart, but keep your options open. HOWEVER, don't wait too long because the fun begins as soon as you open the doll's package!!!! Well, I hope my advice helps you in your shopping for the EXTRAORDINARILY WONDERFUL Monster High Dolls!!!! :)
ReplyDeleteMonster High dolls are really cool and I do like them a lot. But their outfits are SUPER EXPENSIVE! So I only have them in one outfit. The Monster High are made TERRIBLY and CHEAPLY! Mine broke the first day and that is horrific! If they are such a good idea, they should have been made better and then the Bratzilla wouldn't have taken their spot light. Plus its so hard to fit them into other clothes so you can only put them in clothes made just for them. The Bratzilla may have come after the Monster High dolls, but they are better because they DON'T BREAK!
DeleteEven though I do like monster high dolls I do agree that they should be more stable and I had mine in our barbie thing and I found her with her legs off, I don't refcommend these if you don't have a super genius sister who can fix it for you!:)

I like monster dolls but if you have a broken one how are you suppoosed to play with it? It's not like bratz or barbies where they have pretty stable legs they can brake. When we got our first monster dolls we played with them for about an hour and Kate's broke, she was really upset and since I was partly holding her she blamed me:( but we were being careful and they just broke. I do like monster dolls A LOT but I wish they were more secure and then I would a humdred percent like them. Bratzillas are not copying just because they're monsters, because I mean there are probably things that monster dolls copied and I think Bratzillas are still very different and at least you have anothe option because monster dolls can brake.
I STILL disagree with both of you. ESPECIALLY because Barbie clothes only fits Barbie's, Brat clothes only fits Brat dolls, Liv clothes only fits Liv dolls, Moxie clothes only fits Moxie dolls, and it's the same for Monster High Dolls. Why waste time and money changing the Monster High Dolls clothes (which could mess up their hair and all) just play with the doll, or even just keep her as a collectable, it's not as fun but with the doll being sold with a stand and journal that seems like it is part of the purpose. I am not going to change my mind on this one. My dolls have never broken. Also, I didn't even know they sold clothes for these dolls. My final words on this are, I love these dolls and would recommend them to anyone and everyone.
ReplyDeleteKel, that is NOT true. My Bratz and Barbies have found other doll clothes we own that fit them, and Monster high, well, they have a different shape and they don't fit anything! If you buy one, I say good luck and keep their legs on!

They are cool, but if I recommend this doll saying its a "really awesome doll, get it" then if it brakes that would NOT be good advice. If you like it or love it, it could still be a terrible doll. In this case, the Monster high dolls are. If I buy a doll, I don't want there to be a chance that it would brake without it being my fault.
DeleteI forgot to say that I also have deuce and he only broke of his leg. But I actually like that he broke of his arm. Because I play that He likes cleo but cleo hates him. I always take of his clothse when I play with deuce.He is like the weirdo.
